Marking this memorable and unforgettable experience! Being selected as a finalist to compete in the Philippine Pole Cup 2017 and bagging the champion for amateur duo pole category!! Never in my life I thought of myself be able to compete in a pole competition.. I could say that pole is not really my thing because I can't bare with the skin pitching, pain twisting and squeezing the skin on pole. I do slack a lot in pole class... day dreaming and just watching others doing. Haha~ It's so not like me in aerial class or yoga class. I suppose I only enjoy watching videos of people poling?
Anyway, after this competition, I can feel that my passion towards pole dancing is expanding~
I submitted the video entry on October 2016. Was so so surprised when I got the news that me and Noah were selected as the finalist among all the entries worldwide. We don't really get enough practice and preparation for the competition. We were so busy with our own works and also with some year end shows.
We have been like changing our routine more than 10times... trying alot of tricks.. Lol! Our final piece was only confirmed a few days before the competition day..
At the beginning, it was so frustrating as we can't even think of any pole combo that both of us can do and flow nicely.. everything was not in place. We were as blank as we can't think of any moves after a polesit...
Glad to have Angel to guide us through. And Miko to lead us. Third party view is so important because there's those small things that we didn't notice. Ex: our routine song is about ringtone but throughout the end of our routine, nothing is related with mobile phone and we were out of our character. We didn't notice anything about that until Miko told us.
We planned to tailor our outfit but ended up sewing it the day before rehearsal in Philippine. 😓
